Anyone interested in conducting SafeStart training in their workplace can become certified to do so by being part of a three-day workplace Train the Trainer course for your organisation (max of 8 people).

SafeTrain will kick-off all implementations by conducting the first 4-hour sessions with employees. This will cover the overview plus unit 2. The reason for this is that the initial introduction to the SafeStart concepts is crucial to ‘enrol’ people in the process of change.  It needs to be delivered by someone with extensive experience in implementing and training SafeStart.

The Train the Trainer course involves:

• in-depth instruction on how to present the SafeStart Core Units 3-5, including tips on effective presentation techniques
• a Leader’s Manual with a DVD of all basic slides for each of the five Core Units plus a basic script that can be used as a starting point to guide each participant’s individual training style
• an opportunity to receive individual constructive feedback for the units they present.
